1. What is MeDownloaded?
Medownloaded provides you with the very best in digital entertainment and allows you to play your audiobook on your computer, burn it to CD or transfer it to a portable digital media player.

2. How to browse the site
To find the audiobook you want you can either
- Browse using the genre panels which appear on the left hand side of the screen
- Use the search panel located on the top left hand side of the screen. Simply type a keyword into the search panel and click the GO button. A list of titles matching your search criteria will be displayed.

3. Can I preview a product before I decide to buy it?
You can hear a sample of each product on Medownloaded. Simply click the "play sample" button on the product description page and a sample clip will play on your computer's default music player.

4. Which file format is used on MeDownloaded?
The format of your audio file will be clearly marked on the product information
page.
MP3
Where possible we offer content as MP3 audio files which do not contain Digital
Rights Management (DRM) and are universally compatible across all digital media
players including iPods.
WMA
Some audio titles are only available in Windows Media Audio (WMA) format and have
DRM (Digital Rights Management) embedded at the request of content owners. A license
is issued for protected WMA files and they are only playable on PCs using Windows
Media Player and transferable to compatible portable media players. Windows Media
files cannot be transferred directly to iPods or played on Macs. If an error occurs
when a licence is issued for your WMA encoded products please make sure you have
the minimum system requirements (Please see section 6) or visit the link below

5. How to make a purchase on MeDownloaded
Once you have found the product you want you can press the info button to find out more about the title. The information page includes, cover artwork, estimated download time, details of the author and narrator, a detailed product description and the download price. The information page also gives you the following options;
Add to Play List
This feature will allow you to add titles to your own Medownloaded playlist for easy access. This can include titles you are interested in purchasing at a later date.
Play Sample
This button enables you to listen to a sample clip of any audiobook before making your purchase.
Back
This button will take you back to your search results list or to the previous page.
Add to wish list
Items that are not yet available can be added to your Medownloaded Wish List. When the titles become available we will notify you by email (You will have to register your details on Medownloaded in order to create a wish list).

6. What software you need to get started?
If you want to purchase a DRM protected WMA file you will require the following

7. How to download and listen to my audiobook
on my PC
Downloading from the site and listening to you audiobook is simple, for an illustrated guide Click here.
In order to play the downloaded audiobook on your computer you will need a copy of Windows Media Player 11 installed. If you do not have a copy please click here now.

8. How to burn my audiobook to CD
We advise making a back-up copy of your audiobook by burning it to CD. Once on CD you can also use it for playback on your music system or in-car CD player.

9. How to transfer my audiobook to my
portable media player
You will need a compatible portable media player in order to transfer the audiobook files directly from Windows Media Player, please consult the manufacturer’s manual that came with your device to ensure that it is compatible.

If you have an iPod you will first need to burn WMA protected files to CD and then transfer the files into iTunes. Once this is done you will be able to transfer your audiobook to your iPod.

11. Managing your account
As soon as you have registered with Medownloaded (this is necessary when purchasing a product for the first time) you will be given your own account area. In this section you are able to manage your personal details and view your purchase history.
To access your account at any time simply click on the "My Account" after logging in.
In the My Account section you can:
• Gain access to your downloads
• Amend your personal details
• Change your password
• Subscribe to the medownloaded e-newsletter
• View and edit your play list(s)
• View and edit your wish list(s)

12. Security
All your private data is encrypted at all times whilst in transit over the internet. You should see a solid padlock in your browser status bar, which indicates that the encryption is taking place.
